Applying for credit no longer always means bringing photocopies, employment certificates, and folders of paperwork to a branch. In Colombia, some digital processes use the cédula de ciudadanía as the main document you need to have on hand. However, “with just your ID” usually means less physical documentation, not a loan without checks: the lender may still verify your identity, income, economic activity, existing debt, and credit history before approving the application.
