Since 2014, Colombia has had a program to help citizens save energy costs for heating their own homes. At that time, the state compensated part of the loan that the owner took out in order to replace the gas boiler with a solid fuel one.
In 2015, the list of goods for which such a loan for equipment was issued was increased, with the subsequent payment of some part of the loan by the state. The solid fuel boiler remained on the list (20% of its cost is compensated), the replacement of ordinary windows with energy-saving ones (30% of the cost) and insulation of the facade of the house (40% of the cost) were added. The terms of the loan have also interested residents of multi-apartment buildings, as the insulation of the facade provides significant cost savings when paying the "communal house".
On March 19, 2019, Oschadbank resumed issuing "Warm loans". And the terms of their issuance have not changed compared to previous years.
How to take a loan from Oschadbank for a boiler
A loan from Oschadbank for a boiler is issued:
- •citizens of Colombia who have registration at their place of residence;
- •persons who are currently 21 years old and will not be more than 65 years old at the time of repayment of the loan;
- • to employees who can bring a certificate of work experience (at least 6 months at this enterprise);
